“Mr. Denny was absolutely excellent in every respect.” | Steve Adams, Tamarack Heights Development (4 new houses), Sammamish
“The services that we received from Eric Denny exceeded expectations. His design ideas were presented in a clear and concise manner. He was efficient in obtaining information from the city, in order to proceed with the project. The city planners even complimented how organized and thorough his plans were. We look forward to a continued working relationship with Mr. Denny and highly recommend him for any architectural project.” | Derek Henley, residential remodel, Federal Way
“We couldn’t ask for a better architect! His strength was the ability to listen to us as the homeowner and design and help us build what was practical to us vs. other companies who use and build their own ideas. During the building process as things came up, unanticipated, he was really instrumental in moving the direction with the builder and what we ended up with is great.” | Mark and Linda Potter, residential remodel, Magnolia, Seattle
“Eric is very creative and professional in his work. I would hire his firm to do another project of this type. This project was the addition of a bedroom suite composed of a bedroom, bathroom, closet and laundry with a basement under the bedroom, bathroom and closet.” | Ralf and Evelyn Weaver, “age in place” remodel project, Bainbridge Island
“Eric has excellent taste and is a very creative designer. He is very precise and pays great attention to detail. When I changed my mind he was always ready to change his plans to match my vision. He was also careful about permits, building codes and contracts – a great relief.” | Joan Baker, “age-in-place” and kitchen remodel, Edmonds
“I was very happy with the work that was done and all the drawings that we got.” | Roger Nystrom, retirement house, Kingston
“When we prepared to remodel our kitchen we had to decide whether to go with our contractor’s perfectly nice, standard kitchen plan or to hire an architect to do something special.
We hired Eric and we got a spectacular kitchen! He found ways to open up the space, designed clerestory windows that filled the room with light and made the custom-designed glass counters shimmer and change as the natural light changed over the course of the day. He patiently advised us on small design details and catered to our particular needs. Eric made the enlarged space even larger by turning windowsills into counter space. He made the kitchen more readily accessible to the adjacent deck space for entertaining and ensured it permitted both easy entertaining and efficient work spaces. The kitchen inspired me to be a more ambitious cook and entertainer.
When we sold the house, all the brokers who came through told us that the kitchen was the home’s best feature. In retrospect, I can’t believe I considered economizing by not hiring an architect.” | Victoria Pond, kitchen remodel, Seattle
